UPDATED December 1st:
Due to the current “pause” restrictions we will postpone our dinner to a later date when we can have more people attend safely. For now we have some fabulous items that we will have for our ONLINE AUCTION, running December 4th through December 12th, 2020!

Dear Habitat for Humanity partners,
First, I would like to say what a year 2020 has been so far. If we have learned anything from the COVID-19 crisis, it is that our ability to thrive during a shelter-in-place mandate is directly tied to the safety and stability of our housing. Problems such as leaky roofs, mold, insufficient insulation, and exorbitant rent payments threaten the health, safety, and financial security of families and cause further concern beyond the risk of contracting COVID-19.

We ask that you please mark your calendar for our annual Festival of Dreams Fundraiser scheduled for December 5, 2020 at Cadillac Grill. This event will help us as we continue to work towards a future where every Michigan family experiences firsthand the power of a healthy, safe, affordable homes. We will be also featuring an online auction component as well!

This year’s event will have a “Family Theme” where we will celebrate families and activities that strengthen the family unit. All proceeds from this event will go towards projects in the upcoming year to include:
completing a home for the Inscho family – we hope to have them in by Christmas, rehabbing a home of a past partner family and placing another qualified family, several A Brush with Kindness projects, and hopefully we would like to do our first critical home repair project – all in FY 2021.

I hope you will join us again this year as a sponsor at our upcoming event Festival of Dreams 2020 held at the Cadillac Grill on December 5th, 2020. The event will feature a delicious dinner as well as live and silent auction and ALL proceeds from sponsorships and the various auction items will go directly to Wexford Osceola Habitat for Humanity. Your generosity will enable us to continue to build safe, sustainable, and affordable housing for families in our community.
We will make this event as safe as possible by following the guidelines of the CDC that are in effect at the time of the event, a “Mask”uerade Party. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact me at 231-775-7561.
