CADILLAC — A 71-year-old Cadillac woman can’t stop talking about her new living quarters thanks to a wish submitted by her sister.
Paula Dewey said her sister, Maggie Crawford, recently had to move from her apartment into her youngest sister’s home.
The move was made due to health issues that Maggie has been dealing with; because of some of the particulars of the situation, she wasn’t able to bring all her possessions with her.
“She had to pretty much leave everything behind,” Dewey said. “She’s always been proud to live on her own, so she’s been upset and depressed about it. She was very upset to leave her apartment that she lived in for 16 years … It’s be a rough couple of years.”
