Transitioning into a new fiscal year is always an exciting time. It’s a time of reflection on the accomplishments completed, the families served, the communities impacted, and so much more. I am so happy for the amazing work Habitat does and the team that makes it happen. I will say it over and over – THIS IS MY GOD JOB! The team we have in place works hard and puts their whole hearts into serving our community and I am so proud of what has been accomplished this past year.
We doubled our build program and placed 2 families in their forever homes. Our Restore has expanded and is a showcase for us and all of Northern Michigan. The Fund development position we hired last July has proven its worth and we are able to continue the work we do because of the funding secured. Moving into our new fiscal year the goals are BIG but we are BRAVE and BOLD and will continue to impact the community and families in a positive way!
