Construction Team Member
Cadillac Area Habitat for Humanity
Cadillac Area Habitat for Humanity is seeking a dependable, hands-on Construction Team member to help build and repair homes in our community. This role works closely with the Construction Manager to support daily job site activities and create a safe, positive experience for volunteers.
What You’ll Do
- Assist with day-to-day construction tasks (framing, siding, drywall, painting, etc.)
- Perform site prep, material handling, and job site cleanup
- Help guide and support volunteers on-site
- Maintain a safe, organized, and efficient work environment
- Assist with materials, deliveries, and basic project coordination
What We’re Looking For
- Basic construction knowledge and the ability to use hand and power tools
- Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
- Team-oriented with good communication skills
- Ability to work outdoors and perform physical labor (lifting up to 100 lbs)
Bonus if you have:
- Construction or trade experience
- Experience working with volunteers or in a nonprofit setting

Schedule: Primarily daytime hours with occasional evenings/weekends based on project needs.
